By Bec Kate is located within Melbourne. Our business began as a beauty salon in 2017, and we have since expanded into creating a  home decor range.

Here at By Bec we pride ourselves in creating luxury home decor items for an affordable price. Our materials are all ethically sourced within Australia by local suppliers. Our candles are hand poured in small batches, using the highest quality coconut soy wax within Australia. Each candle is designed to complement a variety of home and office spaces. Our products are free of animal cruelty and are vegan. In an initiative to minimise waste, all of our packing peanuts are made from corn and are compostable or water soluble and we use only biodegradable bubble wrap.

Why do we use soy or coconut soy wax?
Coconut soy wax is ethically sourced and is a renewable resource. Unlike other waxes like paraffin wax, coconut soy wax is sustainable. It is also free of pesticides and fertilisers meaning it is clean burning and does not produce harmful chemicals when being burned.
Coconut wax is one of the slowest burning, so your candle will last significantly longer than a standard candle. Most candles available in retail stores are made from paraffin wax, one of the least sustainable candle waxes on the market. Paraffin is created from fossil fuels, meaning there are toxic fumes released when being burned. Coconut soy wax has a fantastic scent throw, so the scent of your candle will be clear when both hot and cold.

Processing times
Please allow 24-48 hours for your order to be completed and dispatched. 

Shipping
We aim to have all of our orders are posted within 2-3 business days, however with the current shipping delays the shipping time is out of our hands once you order has been posted. If you order on Friday please be aware your order will be in the post by Monday. If your order is needed urgently, please consider click and collect.

Pickup
If you are local to our store and would like to pick up your order please select click and collect at checkout. Please be aware that click and collect is only available within certain time periods and you will need to collect your order within them.
